"En Vela" ("Sleepless") is the third single from "La Piel", Rosario Lircay's debut album, and her first release with PHŌNÉ Records, published on Friday, October 23, 2026; the link in the "Listen" section takes you to all platforms. The song rests on a mid-tempo hip hop beat, with Fede Rocha's keyboard and DJ Acres' scratching drawing the backdrop over which the voice wavers between mourning and getting over a lost love.

The story opens with a defiant line: it doesn't matter if you want to leave, good luck to you. From there the singer makes it clear that the one who left is no longer welcome and that coming back has consequences: finding her with other caresses that resemble his. The chorus insists this is a song about moving on, but the second verse looks back again, asks what happened to us and closes with a tired "what does it matter now". That back-and-forth is the heart of the track: the self-persuasion of someone who claims to have turned the page while forgetting hasn't arrived yet. A sleepless night.

Like the rest of the record, "En Vela" was born from a beat and then played by musicians, with the half-sung, half-spoken voice that defines this stage of Rosario Lircay, between R&B, hip hop and alternative pop. "La Piel" was produced by Fresco Fresco (Pablo Acuña and Nacho Barrientos), recorded at La Salitrera and Fresco Fresco and mastered by Chalo G; its previous singles were "ya me tienes" (April 2026) and "a ti" (June 2026).

Rosario Lircay is the stage name of Rosario Meléndez, a singer from the Ñuble region based in Santiago, a permanent backing vocalist for Alex Anwandter and former lead singer of Mareo! and Narcisa. "En Vela" runs 2:50 and is ℗ 2026 PHŌNÉ Records, under exclusive license to ONErpm. Full composition, recording, mixing and artwork credits will be added to this page once the artist confirms them.
