Somos el Presente (feat. Joe Vasconcellos)

Official music video for "Somos el Presente", the Newen Afrobeat song with Joe Vasconcellos included on the album Grietas (2024) and composed by Alejandro Orellana. It was published in June 2023 as one of the record's advance singles.

Javier Moreno directed it, with production by Florece Producciones and Fran Ri, cinematography by Kevin Rodríguez, art direction by Constanza Moreno, movement direction by María Pinchulef and editing, post-production and colour by Matías Cerón; it was shot at the Jama Bros studio. The lyrics speak of being "the present of history" in the face of brutality, addiction to power, patriarchy and wars, and ask whether all of it will stop.

Alongside the "Grietas" lyric video, it is one of the album's videos.
